Dyson DC07 Animal for $425 shipped

This isn't kitchen related, but since I love my Dyson Vacuum Cleaner, I thought I'd bring up this deal.

Amazon.com has the Dyson DC07 Cyclone Animal Upright Vacuum for $450 (usually $500). Save an additional $25 by using coupon code: JANCLEAR Final price: $425 with free shipping.

This vacuum really does as its advertised. The suction is great and it really doesn't lose and power as the canister fills up. We had a Dirt Devil Featherlite for the last couple years (bagless) and we really didn't like dumping the canister since dust got everywhere - especially when trying to clean the filter out by tapping. Eventually, we dreaded this so much we just kept vacuuming even with the dirty filter. It became less and less effective. So, finally we got the Dyson (which I've wanted for quite some time because it's, to me, and engineering masterpiece). The canister on the Dyson dumps it's contents with the pull of a trigger - and it dumps straight down into the trash can, so no more tipping the canister over and pouring dust everywhere.

Also, the Dyson's power cord is extra long (almost 40 feet) and the extendable hose goes out 17 feet. When I plug the Dyson into the hall power outlet, I don't have to unplug it to vacuum the whole condo. Recently, we brought our Dyson down to my parent's home where we demonstrated the long reach hose. Vacuuming the stairs with the Animal Power Tool worked great!

Anyway, I whole hearted recommend this vacuum cleaner. (If you don't trust me, read some reviews on Epinions to see what others are saying about their Dyson experience.)
